Jenny Handley studied at Leith School of Art, Edinburgh and then 3D Design in Newcastle. Jenny works with a variety of media preferring to use acrylic paints and inks enjoying the spontaneous nature of the medium. Acrylics allow her the freedom to develop her paintings while she works keeping the colours fresh and bold. Her inspirations come from many sources, including the countryside and the character and charm of its many inhabitants. Jenny has exhibited in London, Cumbria, Edinburgh and the Highlands and was recently selected for the RSA Open Summer Exhibition.
