Grace Maran is a painter from Edinburgh and is currently based in the Scottish Borders. She has a BA (Hons) degree in Drawing and Painting from Edinburgh College of Art as well as a First Class BA degree in Fashion Design from Heriot Watt University. Grace finds inspiration from her experiences and interests in both fine art and design. She is inspired by decorative art and in her paintings she looks for subjects that can be described through shape, colour, tones, light and shadow and painterly mark making.
