I was born in Glasgow and trained at The Glasgow School of Art.
I graduated with the Diploma in Art and was awarded the Newbery Medal in 1961.
I moved to the Scottish Borders and have lived and worked here since 1972.
I work mainly in acrylics as well as a variety of other media.Many of my paintings depict subjects drawn from the surrounding landscape.
I have exhibited widely and many of my paintings are in private collections in the U.K. and other countries around the world.
