I am a contemporary Scottish Still Life and Portrait artist living and working in Edinburgh. I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1988 with a BA (Hons) degree in Drawing & Painting. I have been painting on and off ever since and have exhibited at Group shows in a range of Galleries across Scotland.
Some of the painting techniques I uses include elements of those being used in the 17th/18th century but equally there are influences of 20th century Scottish Art that seek to maintain a contemporary element that reflects my story.
I have recently returned to the studio and have been developing my still life work to move it away from the more traditional to something that invites intrigue.
