My work is heavily informed by collage as a technique. This manifests itself in my use of juxtaposition within my paintings, which often include clashing patterns, and unrelated imagery. Another area of exploration is gender and identity politics. Some of my work, such as my digital prints, can be seen as a humorous critique on stereotyped gender roles imposed by the media. A further key aspect to my work is the duality of working with analogue and digital. I find my work sits somewhere between the two, often my paintings mimic digital brush marks made on Photoshop.
