After a career in computers, Leslie took drawing and painting courses over a period of five years, with public and private art tutors and at both the Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh’s Telford College. He now paints mainly in acrylic using a very small paintbrush. His subject matter is from nature, most often from his own photographs of plants, birds and animals
