Jane Cornwell – Scottish Artist and Illustrator
I love the great outdoors and I am inspired by nature. I enjoy using colour and surface to capture the atmosphere of some of my favourite places in Scotland. I hope my landscapes evoke a sense of place. For me, the landscapes I paint have huge sentimental value. I would hope anyone that sees my paintings feels calm and at peace.
I am a Scottish artist who studied at Glasgow School of Art. I regularly exhibit at the House for an Art Lover, Glasgow. I’ve also exhibited work with the Glasgow Group, Paisley Art Institute, Compass Gallery, Glasgow, Pittenweem Arts Festival, The Revive Art Fair at the Tall Ship, Glasgow, and Strathkelvin Annual Art Exhibition.
