Pamela McMahon – Biography I began to paint full time and sell my work in 2014. For years, I worked in Arts and Culture, masterminding the 1st Glasgow Art Fair and other initiatives for Glasgow’s ‘City of Visual Arts’ in 1996. Management roles followed in Glasgow Museums, Hopetoun House and VisitScotland. I took courses at Glasgow School of Art and studied drawing and painting at Strathclyde University. In 2016 I had 2 solo shows – in the Tolbooth Arts Centre, Kirkcudbright and The Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Stirling. I currently have work in the Laurel Gallery, Edinburgh, The Flat Cat Gallery, Lauder and the Green Gallery, Stirllingshire. Several of my works are in private collections across Scotland and in Cumbria, London, Brussels and Los Angeles. In 2015 I was awarded a certificate of Special Recognition from the online Gallery ‘Light Space and Time’, a Bronze Award in an international web art competition and a Runners Up Award in an online seascape challenge.
