Award-winning artist Michael P. Young graduated with Honours from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. After leaving Art College he continued his studies, gaining a teaching qualification from Moray House, Edinburgh. A multi-skilled artist, be it as a painter, sculptor, jeweller and silversmith, his subject matter is varied. He is a regular exhibitor at the open exhibitions of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour, Royal Glasgow Institute of Fine Arts, Paisley Art Institute, Aberdeen Artists Society, Royal Society of British Artists, and the Royal Society of Marine Artists. His work is exhibited at various galleries in Scotland, and his work is also in many private collections throughout the world.
