My figurative work explores the fascinating nature of identity and all its complexity. Through the process of painting and describing a face or figure and the intuitive use of my materials such as raw pigment and oil paint the image is allowed to develop gradually with often unexpected results. I am a trained painter with a BA(Hons) First Class History of Art.
