In my artistic practice, I tend to respond to subjects which affect me personally or emotionally. This could be a response to a place, a situation or an emotion. My recent paintings have focused on the atmosphere of Scottish seascapes. Time spent in Paris in recent years inspired figurative works which observe Parisian street scenes. I am currently working on a series of paintings from time spent in North Uist as well as Glasgow street scenes. . I run life drawing and art classes. I also provides art classes and one-to-one art tutoring for adults with additional support needs.
