A graduate of Glasgow School of art Bob is a retired teacher living in Edinburgh. He has exhibited in various venues but mostly on the Island of Arran where he has had annual exhibitions for the past 30 years with work in collections in many countries. He now contributes to the Arran Open Studios event each August. Painting mostly in acrylics Bob has always found inspiration in the landscape and seascapes of Scotland focussing mainly on Arran. Weather patterns and dramatic skies are often a dominant feature of his work.
