Living and working in Edinburgh’s New Town, my work is mainly inspired by the surrounding Georgian architecture. I use a combination of collage, print making, and drawing to reconstruct distinctively ‘Edinburgh’ architectural features. A collector of old books and maps, wherever possible, I use relevant texts and images, to create ‘building portraits’, which have a literary as well as visual story.
