Michelle Cohen is originally Canadian born. She has been living in the UK for almost 20 years and has spent the last 6 in Glasgow. Cohen is a self taught artist who paints in a very unique way. She paints on layers of glass which gives her 2D paintings a 3D feel. She paints on both sides of the glass, making her technique very tricky as half of it is painted in reverse. Cohen predominantly paints Scottish landscapes and architecture.
