I was born and raised in Durham, substantially more than 21 years ago and now live and work in Edinburgh.
Although art had always been a joy, working in Primary Education was my focus for many years both in this country and abroad. Four years ago I decided to commit to furthering my art knowledge, hone my oil painting technique and spend quality time with a paintbrush in my hand.
I love painting a piece that combines, through the delicious buttery qualities of oil, the portrayal of realistic skills with undulating edges. A range of subjects are painted, however at the heart of it all the subject is always something truthful.
