Macintyre, Ross

Established watercolour artist living in Edinburgh, having moved here from Dumfries in 1984. As well as Scottish landscapes, cityscapes, trees and flowers, Ross likes to paint abstracts with a particular liking for what he terms, realistic abstracts. Ross is influenced by many artists and particularly by the watercolourists, John Blockley and Ron Ranson, and also by his fellow painters at evening classes in James Gillespie’s High School.
