Living and working in the Edinburgh New Town, my work is mainly inspired by the surrounding Georgian Architecture. Experimenting with different materials and techniques, I’m always looking for new and surprising effects and combinations. I build up the architectural features of the buildings, with physical layers of paper and marks. Wherever possible, I use relevant texts and images, creating unique ‘building portraits’, which have a literary as well as visual story.
