I studied at Leith School of Art, Edinburgh and then 3D Design in Newcastle. I work with a variety of media preferring to use acrylic paints and inks enjoying the spontaneous nature of the medium. Acrylics allow me the freedom to develop my paintings while I aim to keep the colours fresh and bold. My inspirations come from many sources, including the countryside and the character and charm of its many inhabitants. I have exhibited in London, Cumbria, Edinburgh and the Highlands and was recently selected for the RSA Open Summer Exhibition.
