I studied at Glasgow School of Art from 1970-74. My work is inspired by travel and the subjects of my watercolour, oil paintings, pastels or drawings could be the grey subdued light of a Parisian street in winter, or the blinding midday sun on the Nile or a cloudy Scottish hillside, seeking the vibrant or subtle colours of my subject matter.
I have participated in many group exhibitions, including the Royal Society of Watercolour Artists, Royal Glasgow institute, Paisley Art Institute and many galleries in Scotland and the UK.
